Musicians given chance to be part of popular South West festival

Emerging and established talents are being given a chance to step onto Western Australia’s biggest country music stage. Expressions of interest are called from musical artists who want the opportunity to perform at next year’s Boyup Brook Country Music Festival presented by LiveLighter.

Those added to the line-up for the 2021 edition of the popular music and camping festival will entertain either on the main stage in the Music Park or possible other venues.

The festival is once again expected to attract thousands when it is held in February next year, giving performers valuable exposure.

Festival music director Sharon Winter said the event provided a platform for a variety of acts to be seen and heard by fans that travel from around WA and further afield to attend.

“Whether you are a solo act or a band, we want to hear from you,” Ms Winter said. “This is your chance to be part of a line-up that includes some of the biggest names in country music.”

The 36th annual Boyup Brook Country Music Festival will once again be a fun and friendly celebration of all things country, including a ute and truck muster and a bush poets breakfast.

Applications have been extended and will close on Friday 10th July 2020. To download the form, visit www.countrymusicwa.com.au.
